Wassily Kandinsky Mit
I need some info on a painting done by Wassily Kandinsky?
I'm doing a project on abstract art and i chose Wassily Kandinsky. The problem is i had to choose one of his artworks and pretty much describe it as though i was an art critic. I need some help lol... i can't find any information on what the picture actually represents and why it was created lol... it's the painting called MIT UND GEGEN (1929). Also if you do find information on it could you please provide a link? I also don't mind if you give me your opinions of the work too!

This review by Mark Harden may give you the spirit of art criticism for Kandinsky, and you you try to look at Mit Und Gegen (For and Against), adapting some of the terminology.

You should also read some of Kandinsky's own writing : Concerning The Spiritual in Art, and see if you can make a correlation between what he wrote and what he painted.
